Amazing food, cooked to perfection, definitely will return!
WoW! Incredible food experience!! We are a French Canadian couple in our thirties, and were absolutely blown away by this restaurant. The chef came out to speak to us and introduce himself (hes also from southern France). Very friendly and checked up on all the tables himself to ensure the guests were all satisfied. We had the escargot as our starter (fantastic!) I had the duck breast magret de canard and my boyfriend had the pheasant both cooked to medium rare to perfection! The flavors of the sauce complimented meat and the amount of food was more than enough, but not too much! Really enjoyed this place, very reasonably priced, especially for the quality of the meal. Definitely recommend a MUST EAT HERE!! Only thing that we werent use to was there was no music so the ambiance seems a little different than we are use to, but didnt bother me so I give this a 5 out of 5 stars!
Food is delicious, with a good selection of options. Very attentive staff and the owners are lovely. Lots of seating, tastefully decorated, and a fab booze selection. Would highly recommend - its a special place for our family :)
Main course lovely Crepe flambe did not flame just set decoration on fire so raw brandy and burnt leaves . The brandy should really have been brought hot to table poured there and amex not poured in kitchen then flamed at table. It left a very bitter taste literally . A polite complaint to chef after complimentary words about main ( lamb) left me a little cross. Expecting I am sorry let me see if I can do better and serve it myself. But got yes sorry it cannot be re lit and no offer of substitute. Then tried to charge for it. Not good practice.
Delicately prepared entrees. The Duck, Lamb and lyonnaise potatoes were exquisite with ample sauces and french bread. A dining experience to return to again and again!
