Lovely standard camping area. Plenty of hook up, toilets, shower room, cooking and wash area. Cheap prices too.
Not bad for a quick night. Facilities are ok but the location is on top of an almost bare Hill so can get very windy. Showers aren't free but the price is very cheap so it balances out.
Fairly small and basic site but friendly owner, clean facilities and plenty of electric hook up. Stayed in a tent when the winds were gusting over 30mph but still had a comfortable night.The only bad point is showers are an extra fee but this is understandable.
We stumbled upon this tiny camping while traveling to john o groats. Like the website says: its basically a parking lot with facilities, but they are great; even better than many other campings at a low price. We hope the couple will maintain this camping for many years to come!
A small but very nice site with very reasonable prices. The site owner is friendly, the facilities are clean and there are ample electric hook-ups. Open all year, with a fine view of the Orkney islands, within walking distance of John O' Groats and the small ferry port of Gills Bay.In my case, travelling with a car, it was only 6 a night, including electric hook-up and access to facilities.
